Lancelot left his pro football career to pursue his career in choreography, directing, acting and modeling after surviving a deadly plane crash. Currently with the Mozell Entertainment Group, his acting and dancing credits include “Indigo Dancers,” and “Kit Kat Club,” (Broadway) and “Middle Class Black Folk in the Claire de Lune,” (off-Broadway). He appeared at the Metropolitan Opera in Samson and Delilah, which featured Placido Domingo, and also provided the voice over for “The Tribute to Hank Aaron the Businessman.” Lancelot’s choreography credits include videos for recording artists Lateaf and REYN, as well as working with Nikki Blonsky from Hairspray, the New York Knick City Dancers, and choreographing routines for a Popular Japanese television show. Lancelot is currently appearing as the male lead in Eugene O’Neill’s Anna Christie and played the lead in the Docu-film, “In The Blood.” Lancelot is the creator, choreographer and director of MOMZ-N-DA HOOD, America’s first professionally choreographed dance ensemble made up of women in their 40’s and 50’s. Lancelot started the “Hip-Hop Fusion” Dance Company to give traditional and non-traditional dancers and singers of all ages and ethnic backgrounds the opportunity to be part of a professional production, and to demonstrate that anything is possible when you have Dedication, Desire and Discipline.
